Walker Cup Call up for Charlie
Good luck to Basingstoke’s Charlie Forster!
This week, Charlie will become just the 8th Hampshire player in history to play in the Walker Cup, when GB&I take on the USA at the stunning Cypress Point, California (Sept 6–7).
A product of the Hampshire junior programme, Charlie has been a strong representative in the County Men’s team, gone on to represent England at the European Team Championships, and GB&I at the St Andrews Trophy – and now he’s earned one of the biggest honours in amateur golf.
From county golf to the world stage – we couldn’t be prouder.
